Writer’s Consulting is an author’s analytical consultation carried out personally by the founder of Maison Duval, grounded in philosophical, literary, and psychological analysis.

This format applies not only to manuscripts and books, but also to research and academic materials:dissertations, monographs, analytical reports, and major intellectual projects in which the meaning is already formed, but the form does not sustain its scale.

It is created for situations in which the material already exists, but does not come together as a coherent work, a book, or a completed project.

This is a professional analytical examination that shows:

• the actual level and potential of the material;

• where the text has stalled on a structural level;

• where the author themselves has stalled in relation to their own intention;

• which inner doubts, fears, or distortions of perception are preventing the material from unfolding;

• whether the current form corresponds to the true scale of the idea;

• in which direction the project is capable of developing without inner resistance.

Maison Duval works not so much with the text as such, but with the level of thinking from which it is created. The work is carried out at the level of the authorial position, the scale of the conception, and the maturity of perception of one’s own project.

Maison Duval proceeds from respect for the author’s intention: if an idea is asking to become a text, then depth and potential are already present within it.

The task of this work is not to rewrite or replace the conception, but to help the author unfold it more clearly, see its structure, and allow the form to correspond to the inner scale of the idea.

A text never stops by itself. It always stops where the author ceases to see clearly.

The analytical process

You describe in detail the situation, the material, the tasks, and the key questions.

Maison Duval prepares an extended written analytical examination in which you receive:

• a philosophical, literary, and psychological analysis of the material;

• an analysis of the authorial position and the level from which the text is being created;

• identification of the key inner obstacle;

• an understanding of what exactly is preventing the project from unfolding;

• a clear structure for the next stage of work and the next vector of movement.

If necessary, the format of further support is discussed separately, if the project requires a longer process.

In most cases, one such response is enough for clarity to be restored, for the sense of scale to return, and for the material to begin moving without inner resistance.

Within this format of interaction with Maison Duval, up to three full written rounds of exchange in a question-and-answer format are possible, if this is necessary for the precision of the analysis and the depth of clarification.

This means that the work is not limited to a single document.

The dialogue continues within the format if the project requires further clarification and deepening.

Organizational stages of collaboration

You click “Add to cart” and submit your request. Upon submission, a form opens in which you must describe in detail the material, the current stage of the project, the tasks, and the key questions.

Within 72 hours, Maison Duval confirms the beginning of the work and agrees on the preparation timeline for the analytical examination.

The minimum preparation time is from 20 business days after confirmation of the start of work.

The timeline depends on the volume of the material and the depth of the task.

If the project requires the study of a large volume of text or additional analysis, the timeline is agreed separately.

The analysis is carried out personally by the founder of Maison Duval, with full immersion in the material.
